Strangers whole team get recognition for their outstanding performance with their win against the leagues toughest team. Strangers played ruthless all game not giving up runs in 3 innings during the game with their lock-down defense. Strangers played against a great defense and were able to sneak in 7 runs with great hits and solid base running. and were able to put up the winning run in the bottom of the 7th to break the tie ball game and get a walk-off victory! Great game strangers!

Mark G. made his present felt early in the season in a tight game between Strangers and Good Wood. This game was close all game with the biggest lead in the 3rd inning was 3 runs for the Strangers. With the bats slowing down for 3 scoreless innings it became a 1 run lead for the final 4 innings. Going into the bottom of the 7th Good Wood pulled ahead by 2 runs and the Strangers needed to respond and Mark did just that. With a runners in scoring position Mark entered the box cool and collected and waited for his pitch. Mark drove a deep ball into right-center and his team-mates were able to cross the plate with ease and Mark put his squad in the WIN column for their first game. Great game Mark!
