Daniel Giuliani comes up big in win!

First World Problems have no problems scoring!

When you swinging the bat accounts for half of your team's runs en route to a 16-9 victory, you're probably going to get Player of the Week! That's exactly what Dan G. of First World Problems did when squaring off against Afternoon Delight. Dan put the rest of the teams on notice in the first game of the day when he hit 3 loooooong home runs to score 8 of his team's 16 rbi's. Maybe it was the music bumping from the basketball courts....maybe it was the warm air helping the ball carry a little more....but whatever it was, if Dan G. is swinging the bat like this headed into playoffs, opposing outfielders had better bring their running shoes! Congrats to First World Problems for a great win and to Dan G for his Player of the Week performance!

Adam Baker's home run is the difference!

First World Problems holds on for a close win!

It was a rare 90 degree day in Seattle and as much as all teams just wanted to go jump in Greenlake (and some did), they all came to play! The hottest contest on the scorchingly hot softball diamond was that between First World Problems and Fowl Balls! As the needle melted off of the temperature gauge, things were just heating up between these two teams. The score in this game was actually tied up at four different times, but in the end it was the bat of First World Problems' own Adam Baker that helped put the game on ice. In the top of the final inning, with nobody on, Adam stepped to the plate and stroked a blistering home run over the outfielders' heads to score the go-ahead decisive run! Congratulations goes out to First World Problems and their awesome 9-8 victory and to Adam Baker for being the difference maker with his impressive and well-timed home run earning him Player of the Week!!!
