First Place

Spring Gentlemens Flag Football at Seattle Center Tuesdays

Too Offensive came into Tuesday Night desperate to win their first championship after years of contention without winning the big one. No longer will this team have to live with comparisons to the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings. They are now proven winners after a Championship Worthy showing on Tuesday night.

After being relegated to the Play-In-Bracket due to a forfeit, Too Offensive came out determined not to let that get in the way. Their toughest test came in the semi-finals against the Double Butterfly Kitten Fairies. The teams exchanged 8 touchdowns with neither ever getting more than two ahead. It came down to the final minute, and Zack Case played the role of hero by catching the game winning touchdown in a 57-56 victory that was reminiscent of previous playoff defeats, even down to the final play. However, this time Too Offensive pulled it out.

After exorcising some of their playoff demons in the semi's, The Gents cruised to victory in the finals with a more controlled pace and tempo. QB extraordinaire Ryne Pringle led the way with a steady hand and quick feet. His favorite target was Matt "Jason Witten" Robson, who seemingly caught 17 passes to go with two touchdowns. But it was Robson's interception at the Goal Line on Come On Man's first drive that may have been the most important play of the game, as it was pivotal in putting Too Offensive comfortably ahead by two scores early, and allowing them to control the tempo.

All in all, it was a Championship Worth Performance by Too Offensive. Congratulations to the winners!
