Throughout the season, Paul Menillo and company were all about having a good time and playing good football. With a new team name and a new attitude, the team was able to make a strong playoff run culminating in championship glory last night in a 52-26 win.
SAAARRRSGAAAARRRD jumped out to a 19-0 lead only to face a brief 14 point comeback by The Fugitives. It was then that Paul Mennillo threw the pass of the day to make it a two score game. Later, Mennillo had a highlight reel interception return that put the game out of reach.
After being out for a while, Amber Minnello is officially back and playing again. Amber made a statement on Tuesday night, leading SAAARRRSGAAAARRRD to two victories in one night. With Amber back in the fold, SAAARRRSGAAAARRRD may be unstoppable in the weeks to come.
