Alex hit 9 for 9 w/ a few doubles and was one hell of a catcher and left fielder. He was also named player of the week b/c of his fashionable construction worker knee pads and dynamite Michigan shorts, which told everyone on the field that it was "business time". To go w/his fashion, he also shows great team spirit for both teams and is able to land a joke (at least one an inning) that cracks both sides up. Alex is one hell of a softball player and great addition to the Underdog sporting world!
There are players/people out there that when thrown into difficult situations, will buckle under the pressure. Hilary of Saved by the Balls is NOT one of them. Due to their captain/pitcher not able to make it, Hilary had to step it up and handle not only line ups and positioning, but also Pitching, which is something that she'd never done before. She handled it like a PRO! A little rusty at first on the mound, but it took her no time to find her groove and pitch one hell of a game. Hilary...you are this week's stud(ette) of the week!!
