The players swinging the bats usually end up getting Player of the Week, but this week the love is going to the player who flashed some serious leather. In a see-saw game betweenz "Keep Calm and Amazon" & "Sonics" it truly came down to the last out in the bottom of the last inning. This game saw 3 lead changes with Sonics holding the lead by 1 heading into the last inning. Keep Calm and Amazon came roaring back with 7 runs to take the lead and withstand a final barrage of 5 runs by Sonics to preserve the victory. With both sides swinging the bats well, the difference maker was Keep Calm and Amazon's own James Grandin who was death to flying things in the outfield. While James was making crazy web gem worthy catches by sacrificing grass stains and muddy clothes to come up with some fantastic catches, onlookers ooh'd and aah'd while opposing batters just grimaced as they trudged dejectedly back to their dugout. Congrats to Keep Calm and Amazon for their dramatic 16-15 victory and to James Gradin, our Player of the Week!!!
