Despite winning only one game during the regular season, sixth seeded Old Yella was able to manufacture three "Upset" victories. It is hard to call them upsets however, when you consider that Old Yella always manages to step up their game in the playoffs.
Facing the heartbreak of a last second loss, Old Yella looked to Kevin Dornfield to make a big play. After falling behind 22-21, quarterback Luther Moyer led Old Yella down the field and threw the game winning touchdown pass to Dornfield with three seconds remaining for a 28-22 victory.
At the marquee match up in the first week of the Winter co-ed Sunday Seattle Center league, Luther Moyer of Old Yella, proved once again that he isn't as old as he looks. Leading his team to a stunning victory over the higher seated Seattle Landshark Slooper Ducks, Luther proved that he can still move those old bones of his. His scrambling style of quarterbacking was reminiscent of the Jake Plummer we all knew at ASU. Great job L-Train and good luck next week.
