It took until the final game of the day to find this week's Player Of The Week as The BoomStix faced Help Wanted. It didn't take long for The BoomStix's own Bruce Flores to make his presence known in this game as he stepped to the plate in the first inning with bases loaded & promptly jacked a grand slam home run into the far parking lot! But 'Bruce Almighty' wasn't done yet....faced with another bases loaded situation in the 3rd inning he smashed his second grand slam of the game! Then in the top of the final inning with his team trailing by 1 run Bruce again was up to the challenge, this time with only 2 ducks on the pond, but with the same result he blasted a 3 run home run to propel his team into the lead for good as The BoomStix went on to win with a final score of 28-22! Congrats to The BoomStix on an impressive & hard-fought victory and to Bruce Flores this week's Player Of The Week!!!
