This game was a defensive struggle! Pitches Be Crazy scored 9 runs in the first and then went scoreless for the next 4 innings. During this scoreless stretch the Indy Corpses staged a comeback and tied the game at 9. Casey was a huge part of this defensive minded game and racked up 7 assists at the hot corner. He added 3 hits and a run scored, as Pitches Be Crazy finally broke their scoreless stretch with a run in the bottom of the 6th which ended up being the difference.
In a battle that raged for six innings on Tuesday night, it was the defense and batting of one person that truly made the difference. Her performance sparked a last inning comeback clearly playing a major role in the outcome of the game. Tiffany's team spirit, her play at second and her timely hits up the middle in the late innings scored much needed runs when PBC needed them. She helped lay the ground work for a bottom of the sixth inning comeback and a great overall game. Great job PBC and great job Tiffany!
