Dave Bandstra played outstanding defense at 2nd base and added some timely hitting to lead Spank-n-Dank to a 1st round playoff win. Dave made 3 terrific plays, two of them out of self preservation, on hard hit balls to 2nd base. He snared both and threw out the runner at first. Bandstra also made a great play moving to his right, backhanding the ball and throwing off balance to first, to get the out.
Dave added some clutch hitting with a double and a RBI single to led to runs in the 3rd and 4th inning. Great job, Dave! Bring that "A" game for next weeks semi-finals.
