The game was an amazing, competitive game that was awesome to watch. Two solid teams went head to head and We Got the Runs played their best game of the season when it especially counted. They held the normally score-heavy Basic Pitches to just a few points early on, and combined solid fielding with excellent kicking to put them in good position. The rest of the game was back and forth, but We Got the Runs was able to maintain their high level play and walked away with the win! Never doubt the underdog!!
Brona had a couple great games tonight. Defensively she was a wizard out in the field and made a couple really nice catches in the outfield that really turned the tide. Offensively she laid down a couple really nice bunts and kept the offense going.
