In decisive fashion, The Bomb Squad put on an offensive showcase. The Bomb Squad's stacked lineup suffers no holes offensively or defensively, and their skill overpowered the Dothrookies in the championship. That is no small feat - The Dothrookies are seriously talented and athletic. Ultimately, the fundamental playing habits, situational knowledge, and game experience from the seasoned Bomb Squad won out. Congratulations to the Dothrookies for making it to the finals, and to The Bomb Squad, Underdog Champions!
This week, Katy of the Bomb Squad exhibited fantastic defense at 3rd base. Her best play on the night was a quick reaction to a hard-hit line drive over her head. The play required insane coordination and reflex to accomplish; the play also saved runs from scoring. Katy made plays like that all night long during her team's championship run. Her performance earns her player of the week and finals MVP!
