In the first round of the playoffs at Greenlake, the most exciting game by far was the 8-inning thriller between Always Hungover and the Sluggernauts, ending 16-15 in favor of the Hangovers. A game as epic as this one naturally requires an equally epic cast of players and Chris Howard rose to the top. The man with the glove he was, covering large swaths of field catching everything hit his way, each out proving extremely valuable and making in the tight affair.
Other standouts included player of the game Erica, whose catch sealed the deal, and Jansen of the vanquished 'Nauts, whose 2-out, 3-run homer in the bottom of the seventh forced the extra decider.
