Molly Trainor

Kicking Assets and taking names

No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Molly Trainor repeatedly showed support for her team, even when they would lose a point or make a mistake. Her positive attitude was amazing throughout the entire match. Molly completely embodied the Underdog spirit with her attitude. For increasing the fun had by all, Molly is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Kim Condie

Kicking Assets and taking names

"No. Way.” This was the thought of everyone at First Baptist Monday night when Kim Condie of Kicking Assets and Taking Names made an amazing play out of nothing. Typically, when a ball flies out of bounds there is nothing to cheer about. It may hit the wall or the basketball hoops but that is all. Somehow, Kim sent the ball flying towards a hoop on the side of the court. The ball hit the backboard and began bouncing around the rim. Everyone was watching when suddenly the ball sank through the basket. The entire room was amazed by the accidental, yet somehow skillful play made by Kim. To top it off, she got the kill. For this one in a million shot, Kim is our player of the week. Congratulations!

Molly Trainor

Kicking Assets and taking names

AMAZING is the only word that can express the play that Molly T pulled off on Monday night volleyball at First Baptist. Just when the ball was about to die on her side, she launched herself to the ground after it. Refusing to give up, she reached her arm out and slid with the greatest effort she could. Her hand fell right under the ball, popping it up and allowing her team to continue the rally. This play known as a pancake is extremely hard to successfully pull off, but she managed to do it. For her outstanding save, Molly is our player of the week. Congratulations, Molly!
