First Place

Fall Gentlemens Flag Football at Juanita HS Thursdays

The Bothell All-Stars completed an undefeated season by winning the Thursday Jaunita Gentlemens championship. Using a nearly unstoppable passing attack they cruised by Malicious in the semi finals and then pulled away from Schick-Shadel in the championship game.
Pin point passing by "weekly POG", Tony Gardiner to his receiving corps was way too much for any defense in the league to handle and tonight was no exception.
In the semifinal game, Gardiner hit nearly every receiver for a touchdown as Bothell crushed Malicious 62-40. Travis McKee had a number of TD catches (does he ever drop a ball) and Nate Baker also added a couple of scores and PAT's.
In the other semi final, Pat O'Leary had 3 TD's as Schick Shadel just got by the number 2 seed, the Horned Frogs, 34-33.
The championship game stayed close for a while as Schick Shadel hung in there through most of the firat half and then scored late to pull within 12 at halftime. But in the 2nd half, Bothell drove for a TD on their first possesion to make it an 18 point game and really never looked back. Schick Shadel did score to again pull it within 12, but couldn't hold off the high powered Bothell offense. The final score 50-30. It was a fine effort by both clubs and probably won't be the last time they'll meet for a championship. Congratulations, Bothell All-Stars.

POTW: Tony Gardiner

Bothell All-Stars

Who else could the POTW be? He is the player of the game every week, so he might as well keep the string going. Of course, Tony Gardiner does deserve to be POTW this week. Tony threw 14 touchdown passes and also ran for a couple as he led the Bothell All-Stars to the Gentlemens championship. An awesome display of athletic prowess!

POTW: Tony Gardiner

Bothell All-Stars

This weeks player of the week goes to the great arm of Tony Gardiner and his 7 TD passes in a shoot out with a league great. With the final score being 54 to 32, it was Tony that took his opponent out of the game with great passes all over the field. Great job Tony!
