POTW: Lindsay Mabee

Balls 'N' Dolls - Indy #1

This week's player of the week is awarded to Lindsay Mabee from team Balls 'N' Dolls. In a rare event for the sport of Kickball, Lindsay used strategy to sacrafice her at bat to move the runner into scoring position. With 1 out and a runner on third, the next batter was able to score the runner giving Balls 'N' Dolls an important 2 run lead going into the last inning. Great job playing the game correctly Lindsay!!!

POTW: Kristen Myers

Indy #1

Kristen showed great spirit and sportsmanship in her play. On a close play at first base, she tumbled into the bag just ahead of the throw, got up and was excited and ready to go for the next kicker. Later, in another inning, she was going from first to second. When the ball was thrown at her, she dodged out of the way. From the umpire's vantage point, she was called safe. She calmly explained, however, that the ball had hit the front of her jersey, earning the respect of her fellow kickballers.
