In a nailbiter, Blitzkeg's speed around the bases proved to be the difference as they turned should-be singles into doubles, which in turn became runs scored. The intensity of the game even had the umps nervous, when they considered calling the game because of the intensity level after the 4th inning. Luckily, both teams were all smiles after the game.
Brad calmed down after a tumultuous first inning to hold Maverick scoreless over the last 5 innings of the game. Brad did this by shaking off his catchers signals for the curve, and throwing his frightening 25mph arched heat.
