First Place

Summer Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Playfield Sundays

Hard fought battles raged all night long for the Ballard Playfield Co-Ed Championship, but The Super Heroes In Training showed they had the talent and power to claim the title. In the semi-finals, the S.H.I.T powered back from a late inning deficit with a big helping hand from Joe Larama. With one of the biggest kicks of the night, Larama booted a grand slam deep to left field for the go ahead runs and lead that his team would not relinquish in extra innings, winning 13-11.
In the final, Sade Hayes led the charge with an onslaught of base hits and a cannon arm in right field. With the help of their heroine, Hayes, the S.H.I.T. rolled out to a lead in the first inning and never looked back, stomping their way to a 6-0 win for the championship.
