This week's player of the week goes to Aaron Miller of the Green Meanies. During high pressure situations, Aaron managed to kick the rubber off that red rubber ball. Down by a few runs in the semi-final game, during Aaron's 2 up to bats, he tripled scoring 2 runs. On one play, he was inches from crossing home plate on a drive to the outfield, but was thrown out by an amazing throw by one of the Manhandlers. Aaron and the rest of the crew from the Green Meanies played a great game in the semi-finals. Thanks for your fun energetic spirits!!
By Far, the Green Meanies played in one of the closest, most exciting games this Spring at Ballard B & G club against the tough Manhandlers. During this games many players stand out, but this week's player of the game goes to Mark Farrar for his all around ALL STAR play. He had multiple hits, including one homerun and 2 triples. He also made some amazing plays on Defense throwing player after player out. For those of you in this league, look out for Mark....i'm convinced he's a mean green superman.
