Under the lights and fog of Dahl Playfield, Logic 20/20 had some hot bats. In the first game of their double header, they scored early and often, lead by a few long balls from Sean Dowling. 20/20 heald a pretty good lead most of the game, but had to fight off a big rally in the 6th, topped off by a ESPN Top Ten worthy play at short by Sean. With a runner at first the ball was crushed up the middle. Sean made a diving stop and backhand flip to second to just in time to get the runner for the third out and end the game.
They continued their hot hitting in the second game as well, but came up against an even hotter hitting "Hit 'EM With the D" team that lit up the score board for 30 runs in 5 innings. Congrats to both teams for solid games. Time for the playoffs!
in the end there wasn't a winner, but it was one exciting tie. Both teams came out of the gate on fire. Stuart lead of the game with a triple the opened the gate for a 5 run 1st. Both teams continued to pile on runs to get to 20-15 Zombies in the bottom of the 4th. Then in the top of the 5th (last inning due to time) Stuart completed his cycle and started an 11 run rally with a home run. Then in the bottom of the 5th Zombie rallied for 6 to complete the sister kisser. Great job, both teams!
