Since the beginning of the regular season, Don't Stop Ballieving used their high powered offense and impeccable defense to win each game and finish the regular season at 6-0. They continued their success into the playoffs and in the semifinals met their biggest challenge from the regular season, Multiple Scoregasms. Don't Stop Ballieving kept to their normal defensive greatness and held every team to single digit runs.
In an intense defensesive based championship game, Don't Stop Ballieving was held to their lowest score of the regular and postseason. But that did not stop them from improving their already incredible defense by allowing the least amount of runs all season to the Slow Baby Bouncers. A fifth inning home run allowed Don't Stop Ballieving to secure a 3-1 victory to take home the golden kickball.
With incredible all around play in the postseason, Aaron Glick is deserving of the player of the week. Aaron was dominant when kicking, coming up with multiple home runs and securing The victory in the championship game for Don't Stop Ballieving. A force to be reckoned with in the base paths, his goal was to score every chance he had and was successful.
Along with his dominant offense Aaron showed gold glove caliber defense. With a great arm from the mound, it was nearly impossible for the opposition to reach first base. He also finished off each game with a couple strikeouts with consistent and textbook pitching. Aaron's clutch at bats in the championship game make him deserving of the Player of the Week.
Luke gets player of the week for his key 3rd inning home run. Down by one in the bottom of the third with one on, Luke kicked a rocket to right field that went all the way to the fence! Scoring easily on the play and driving in another, Luke gave his team two HUGE runs in a very close 6-5 victory for don't stop Ballieving.
During this week's opening festivities at Lower Woodlands Park, Aaron of Don't Stop Ballieving answered the call of duty when his team had only 8 players show up to the game. The team opted against having a catcher, designating Aaron as the fielder of bunts for the evening. Undeterred, Aaron proceeded to record numerous putouts on bunts, aiding his team to a sizeable victory. For his multiplicity while playing the field, Aaron is our player of the week.
