A great show of sportsmanship from all players during these playoffs! Team Huh? came out swinging in game one leaving Bethany and Friends searching to pick up the pieces for game two. During the match Sulianna made some awesome spikes and big muscle serves! Unfortunately, Bethany & Friends did not recover as well as they had probably hoped, but were excited regardless, to head out for some St. Patty's Day celebrating earlier than planned! In set two, Flo's Heroes took to the court against Red Hot Chili Peppers. Andy from Flo's Heroes even came dressed the part for this evening's competition. Between his fierce goggles and his Top Gun "Too close for missles, switching to guns" logo t-shirt he definitely added some extra humor to the game. Not to mention, his constant reminder to his team of the Champs t-shirts on the line, yelling "T-Shirts" between almost every play! Both teams Huh? and Flo's Heroes, gave stellar performances in the championship game. Amy kept her team's spirits up and had some great serves, while Lote made some great hits and blocks helping to assure her team's overall victory. The champions this season team Huh?! Great job everyone!
Lote had an expectional game tonight. Her spikes were on fire and resulted in a number of kills. Her serves flew over the net hard and fast. Lote laid herself out on the floor, having no fear as she dove to the ball. She also had a great and upbeat attitude the whole night, which contributed to the spirit of the game. Lote is more then deserving fo this weeks Player of the Week and she will be someone to watch in the future. way to go Lote!
William rocked it last night. He had very pretty sets that floated gracefully down to his teammates. His blocks were huge, stopping the attcking force on the other team. Not to mention they were fun to watch. William was also all over the court, going for everything. William had a fantastic attitude and kept everything light. Congrats William, on being this weeks Player of the Week.
