Notes

First Place

Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Sundays

Marshall Law picked up their first Underdog Kickball championship on Sunday by upsetting two higher seeded teams.
Marshall Law played 3 consecutive games to pull off the feat. First was the 6th seeded Kick in the Grass, who gave them some initial resistance before the high powered Marshall offense put up 13 runs to advance. Next up was the two seed, WWIATP. The Marshall offense kicked into high gear again, putting up a tournament high 15 runs as Alicia Graham led the way.
In the championship game, they met up with the first seeded and better rested Be Gentle...It's Our First Time. It was a close game all along, as the Gentle defense held the high octane and worn down Marshall offense in check. Marshall would put up 5 runs to compliment some great defense to pick up the championship.

POTW: Sandy Cobb

Marshall Law

Sandy showed her value Sunday just by showing up. Seriously, four teams forefeited. She went above and beyond providing that menacing presence on the bench, however, and sealed the deal on the field, putting away Panda kickers with lock-down defense. On one play, she even appeared to try to catch the ball with her teeth. That kind of tenacity makes Marshall Law a playoff favorite.
