It was a shoot-out all the way to the end! "This Aint What You Want' was able to come out on top. With the final score being 29 to 28. The difference came down to a PAT early in the game that allowed Aint to keep it a two score game. Everytime "Crown Royal" put numbers up, they were always answered by "This Aint What You Want", who eventually was able to run out the clock, and put on the champ shirts. Great game to both teams!
This weeks player of the week goes to Malcolm of "This Aint What You Want". His honors for this week started last week when he lit it up with a roster of 5 to get to the Championship day. His arm was always good, but the last few weeks its been dead on, and opponents have no answer for it. He hit target after target on this day and tore down D's of the opponents. He made 4 TD passes in the championship game, along with some great 1st down rushes. Great job Malcolm!
The Statdog has heard a lot of cliches throughout the years, and one of the more popular ones is "Who wants it more?". On Saturday, William Ambrose lived up to that cliche by returning an interception the length of the field for a game winning touchdown, while running on a very sore hamstring. The score was the difference in a 26-19 victory for This Aint What You Want. After the game, Ambrose iced down his hammy and took many congrats from teammates, and the opposing team, for his heroic effort.
