Some Assembly Required

Founded in 2026, Some Assembly Required entered the Underdogs Volleyball League with a simple mission: get a group of friends together, have fun, and create a tradition worth coming back to year after year. And yes we entered the Midcore League...

Like our name suggests, we weren't exactly a finished product on Day One. Our roster brought together a mix of seasoned league veterans and a few brave newcomers learning the ropes (and occasionally ducking from them). While many of the team members had previous volleyball experience, this was the first time this particular crew came together under one banner.

Built on friendship, encouragement, and a healthy appreciation for post-game celebrations, Some Assembly Required quickly discovered that great teams aren't just assembled—they're built through shared laughs, questionable serves, and the occasional "my bad" after a collision. Sorry not sorry!

As our first season unfolds, our goals are simple:
Have fun
Get better together with lots of laugh
Cheer loudly
Win when we can
Establish a volleyball tradition that brings us back to the court at least once every year

Whether we're diving for impossible balls or figuring out rotations on the fly, this inaugural season marks the beginning of what we hope will be a long-running tradition. The trophies may still be in our future, but the team memories have already started.
