Today's season opener started off with bang, this game was truly something thing to watch. With 3 very competitive sets in this first game the team, I Think She Means Drone, played like professionals. Like all pros, a team like this must face some challenges in order to become great, and I Think She Means Drone faced one in their first set against their opponents. Even though they started of their first set strong, leading by a large margin, their opponents fought back and slowly took the win, making I Think She Means Drone down 0-1. However, this did not break the spirits of this strong willed and highly skilled team. Thus the 2nd set started off strong, their team pulled it together under the strong leadership and athletic ability of Mike Rorem. Now Mike not only showed his skills on the offensive side of things, where he truly stood out above his team was in his defensive prowess. With this he lead his team to a 10 point victory of 25-15, bringing them to be 1-1. Now this 3rd set had a very similar outcome, but Mike really had some key moments in which he changed the outcome of the game completely. He had some major serves and that allowed him and his team to go on a strong run to end up winning the 3rd set by strong margin making his team start of the season on top with 1-0 record.
