Considering The Spares finished in last place last season, they've really gotten off to a great start.

However, team scoring was incredibly close throughout the league, so this season should go down to the wire.

Heather had her two good luck charms/fan club encouraging her all the way this week. It must have helped because she bowled a new personal best of 151 in the first game and followed it up once again with an even better personal record of 219 (capped at 205 of course). Heather's amazing skill led her team to a 4-0 victory over Team Poop Boy.

Scott Raby earns the nod for this week's Player of the Week. He followed Game 1's 156 with a league-high 195 for Game 2. As it turned out, Split Happens needed every pin Scott could knock down, as they squeaked out a 1-pin victory in Game 1.

Thunderballs
Jada was really on a tear Monday night. To begin with, she nailed a turkey in her second game, helping Thunderballs claim 4 points on the night. Thunderballs' official team mom referred to Jada as "the heart and soul of the team."

Feeling the buzz of power, Jada capped off the evening by challenging (and defeating!) the other ladies of the team to arm wrestling. After claiming the womens' title, she then took on the men. Even though she didn't win this round, she almost did.

Overall it was a pretty impressive evening.

Nathan lead his team to a 4-point victory, as well as leading all Monday night bowlers with a 204 in Game 2. Besides great bowling, he and the rest of XXX displayed great sportsmanship by even celebrating their opponents' strikes and spares.
