Dressed up in Pirate costumes, and carrying around a mechanical pirate, I Like Big Putts Too picked up a championship by 9 strokes over John Daly's AA Support Group. Apparently the pirate motif works, maybe they should try it for every week next time!
It's difficult sometimes to come up with Player of the Week for these things, because it's usually the standout players who get nominated, and the standout players in mini-golf are usually the ones that are three beers deep doing pirouettes in a tutu on the 16th hole. Sometimes we give it to girls, too.
But this week, it's hard to not notice such an exemplary score such as Vishnu's 38 in Week 1. It's difficult to pull a good score in the first week on the course, but not only did Vishnu have a hole-in-one, he didn't score above a three on any given hole. Good job!
