This Saturday in the Winter Men's Flag Football league at Memorial Stadium Team Jacknut earned the hardcore championship by defeating Shake 'n Bake 34-32. Both teams had put in solid performances all season, and it was clear that this game was going to be no pushover. The teams battled back and forth displaying all the skills they had consistently used all season, but Team Jacknut was able to mount the final drive in the last seconds that killed the clock and Shake 'n Bake's chances of victory. Both teams played very well, but Team Jacknut proved that they deserve to be able to sport those champs shirts next season. Good job Team Jacknut!
The boys from Team Jacknut put together quite a performance this past Saturday as they won 38-19. Leading the way was Kyle Anderson who had two touchdowns and one interception on defense. Team Jacknut looks to be the favorites in the playoffs for the winter season.
