Too Offensive won the League Championship on Tuesday Night, but only by the skin of their teeth. After cruising to victory in the semi-finals, on the heels of five touchdown passes by Ryne Pringle, the Gents met their match in the finals. KTOWN was not about to lay down, as they nearly pulled off the upset. On the final drive, trailing 44-40,KTOWN got down to the three yard line. But that's when the defense stiffened, thanks in large part to Matt Robson. Matt pulled off the game winning sack on the final play, preserving the victory and the championship. Congratulations to the winners!
Heading into Tuesday Night, many who follow the Gentlemen's League called the match-up between Grape and Too Offensive as the "Game of the Season", and as it turned out, the contest lived up to it's hype. Too Offensive was able to pull out an extremely close 35-34 win thanks in large part to Nate B, who had a game changing interception, to go with a key touchdown.
