Late Spring Co-ed Softball on Capitol Hill Monday/Wednesday

Random Collision has had a flair for the dramatic these playoffs and Wednesday night's championship game was no different. Random Collision trailed Your Mom Plays Spring Softball for the majority of the game finally tying the score 9-9 in the sixth. With some great defense, including a tag out at home, this score held until the bottom of the eighth. In this inning Random Collision was finally able to get their first two runners on, then stepped up perhaps the most polite player in all of Underdog, Bill Schwarz. Bill smacked a shot down the line for a walk off three run home run. He then proceeded to immediately thank the other team for a great game. Nice job Bill and Random Collision!

This weeks player of the week goes the outstanding play on both offense and defense by Justin D. In a game that had lots of BIG hits by both teams as well as Web-gems from both defenses, Justin played just a bit better then the rest, Justin was perfect at the plate going 5 for 5 with a couple of triples, but his honors were earned on defense. Justin made a bunch a great catches on well hit balls, and kept his team ahead locking down left-field. Great game Justin!

Random Collision moves on with clearance shot!

Random collision may have gotten off to a lows start on Wednesday but they certainly got things rolling late. In a very interactive and competing game on Capitol Hill against the Storm Troopers, it was Cole t. Who got the hits started with his " clearance" shot. It was a very close game in which Random Collision won 15-10, it took some great defense and some great offense to help Random Collision advance to the finals!
