In what may have been the most anticipated championship match in Big Turkey Bowling history the 1979 Pabst Extra Light National Champions came out of retirement to take the 2005 Late Spring Seattle Big Turkey Bowling Lelani Lanes Championship. Playing without team captain and self-proclaimed leader Nick Ferate, the boys (and ladies) did not miss a beat. Despite a hickup in the first game, they were able to take the second and overtake the Gutter Sluts in total pinfall thanks to an outstanding double capped score night by Dino Dayao. The rilvary is sure to continue into this summer as both teams are signed up for Drinks On The Links. Each team has added a few key offseason accquisitions that will be sure to make things even more interesting. And with the way these two teams keep meeting in the finals of each league, this rivalry has a chance to go down as one of the all time best in the history of Underdog Sports Leagues.
With two games of capped scores in the championship round, there was little doubt that Dino Dayao had to be the player of the week. To his credit he did it while drinking alot of Bacardi.
