After an intense first match earlier in the day, Fleetwood Smac moved on to play Peaches in the championship. This game was wrought with amazing serves, digs, and spikes. In a match that went to a third set, both teams gave it their all. At one point in the match there was a play that went back and forth with both teams diving effortlessly and digging the ball to save it and continue the rally. This match was incredibly well-fought, and well-deserved by Fleetwood Smac. Congrats, everyone!
Kylie was a menace on the court tonight. She played with 110% effort the entire match, and with incredible determination and enthusiasm. She never gave up, and dove for every ball. Along with that, her hits were on point, and she served up a storm. Kylie also cheered on her teammates and not without a smile on her face. She was everything Underdog looks for in players. She helped her team win in both the semi-finals and the finals. She killed it tonight. Congrats, Kylie!
With an incredible one-handed save that caught everyone’s attention, Matt solidified his position as this week’s Player of the Week. Throughout the match Matt had some amazing serves, plays, and saves. Not only that, but Matt also encouraged his team and had some great sportsmanship. Congrats, Matt! Keep it up.
