There is no question the Player Of The Week goes to Sean of Bigfoot this week.. On a cold night where it seemed like the game would never end, Sean did everything to make sure the Turkey Snazzlers wouldn't pull off a upset.. With the game going back and forth through most of the hour, Sean came up to kick with 2 runners on and kicked a ball to dead center field. With the ball sailing over the center fields head Sean was already half way between 1st and 2nd. There was no doubt it was a homerun. With that homerun he put his team up by 4, a little more breathing room when he came up to kick again with almost the same situation he kicked the ball in almost the same spot but with the same end resluts. Another homerun to put the game out of reach. With some solid defense in the final innings, Sean and Bigfoot held off for the win. Great game Sean, you really kicked the crap out of the ball.
Keith had no idea when he showed up at noon on Saturday that he would be playing in over half the games on the schedule. He helped Bigffot with monster defense at catcher and some very timely kicking. After that game he played the double header that Bigfoot had with yet another stellar game. He then played the next two games because the teams needed extras which he agreed to play. He had only one game where the ball seemed to play tricks on him but that kickball is tough for anyone to catch. He played in 4 straight games, giving it 110% every game..He played extremly hard with superb defense and great kicking. He begged and pleaded with the last two teams to play but they didnt need any extras but he was willing and wanted to go the distance. Great great day Keith. Keep up that great work and never quit attitude.
Sean played a excellent game, pitching a great game with great defense and pinpoint kicks but Alyssa stood out from them all. Alyssa played 1st base and caught everything that was thrown to her. On one play the ball was thrown wildly, she gaiined control of the ball with her foot, popped it up and almost gunned out a guy running to first. Not only did she have awesome defense but her bunting was top notch. Bunts so precise that the ball literally stopped in front of the plate and with her speed there was no way Grant (catcher from Ball Related) was going to get her out. Congrats on a great ALL around game Alyssa, Bigfoot with Alyssa leading them off...
