First Place

Early Fall Co-ed Volleyball at Seattle Central Tuesdays

Sets Panther started off the night early with a quarter finals match at 6:30. They then had an hour off and played their semi finals match at the same time as Morning Missiles. Both teams obtained their victory in the first two matches and were ready to go for the Finals. The first game started out with a strong domination on Morning Missiles part. They were jumping higher, digging lower and blocking all over the place. After a little bit of a run, Sets Panther closed the gap a bit, but did not get that victory. Fire was in both teams eye and the next match was full of many great rallies that were fun to watch. You might think that a female dominated team on the Sets Panther side would be a disadvantage over the two 6 foot-something males from Morning Missiles, but the girls held their own. Game two went to Sets Panther and the game was kind of over from there. Morning Missiles put up a good fight, but the second game win fueled the fire in Sets Panther and they were crowned victors.

All around great

While Ann Marie is not the official captain on her team so leads the team as if she is. Ann Marie is constantly cheering her team on, giving constructive criticism and took on the tough role of setter. She is super scrappy all around the court and doesn't hesitate to jump in the front, even though a block is not in her favor. Ann Marie is an awsome player and teammate.
