Some referred to Babe Ruth as the Sultan of Swat. Well, I think it's fair that after last nights performances, Matt Noble be referred to as the King of Kicks. With a last name like Noble, it only seems inevitable that a royal designation be thrust upon Matt. His 2 run Home Run sparked a scoring flurry and lifted Kanye's Gold Diggers to their first of 2 wins. He expanded his kingdom on offense and protected the realm on defense, making Matt Noble, the Player of the Week.
Roger Bannister, Bill Russell, Michael Phelps, Jason Panzenbeck. Some individual sports performances resonate with you for so long they become stuff of legends. Well, Jason's performance last night was nothing short of spectacular. With a Golden Glove performance at shortstop and an inside the park home run, he reminded us all why he was this week's Player of the Week.
