Proving they are aptly named, the Defending Champions rolled over Bump, Set, Yikes in a decisive 2 game victory. Coming off a tough match again C League Champs, the Defending Champions were ready to battle. With their loss of one of the players after the semi-final match and playing with 5, the Defending Champions took the lead right at the beginning. Bump, Set, Yikes managed to tie things up at 10-10, but The Defending Champs took the lead away once again and stayed ahead for the rest of the game. A hot serving streak at the end locked down their victory.
The second game went even better for this hard hitting team! Bump, Set, Yikes, never stood a chance as The Defending Champs smacked the ball hard, dug everything up and made very few errors. The game was short and sweet, with The Defending Champs ending up on top once again!
The Defending Champions played like true champions tonight! Down a player, they still played like they had 6 people on the court. The hitting was on, the serving was amazing and their defense was unstoppable! They had fun with each other and worked their butts off in their games, and it played off!
