Third Place

Summer Co-ed Kickball In Eastlake Tuesdays/Thursdays

Thursday, July 20

Jake Spiezle

Anybody but Kipp

Jake had an absolutely amazing performance this week. The game was tight for the first couple innings but then Jake opened the flood gates by kicking a grand slam which rallied his team to pour on the runs. He also made some clutch plays on defense but it was how he lead by example behind the plate and kicked in a majority of his teams runs. And most especially why we decided to award him player of the week was because he was not Kipp. Way to not be Kipp, Jake!

Tuesday, July 11

Geoffrey Fisher

Double Play King

Geoffrey was the center of attention in this game because for some reason he kept getting double play after double play. I thought to myself "This has to be the luckiest guy ever to play kickball," because I have never seen one person get so many double plays in one game. It was absolutely insane! He did however try to get greedy on one of them by trying to stretch it into a triple play by catching it at first, tagging first base and throwing back to second. But as it would happen he would have to be content with his third double play because he slipped on the base and fell on his bum. No worries Geoff it was still and incredible play and an even more spectacular game.

Thursday, July 6

Andy Dumich

Pitch Please

Andy had a monster game defensively. He played first all game and there seemed to be 5 of him on the field. he ended up catching more or less 100 balls in the infield and really held down the position. Offensively he was a big part of Pitch Please's success, with a couple majestic drives that led to RBIs for him and then RBIs for the people behind him who drove him in.

Tuesday, June 20

Kipp Marstall

Pitch Please

Kipp was an absolute monster out there. Kicking balls left and right and stretching extra bases which turned into multiple runs for his team. And he was a ballergies on defense making tons of catches and throws to first base for crucial outs. Also definitely most spirited.
