Notes

First Place

Summer Co-ed Softball at Interbay Mon/Wed

Soft Balls, Hard Bats win 32-14 over their perennial rival Frank's Lil' Sluggers. The team exacted revenge again to win the championship after falling to Frank's in the regular season. The win was a team effort with stellar defense all around and plenty of offense to boot.

Monday, July 25

Stephen Delano

Soft Balls, Hard Bats

Taking a page out of Bob Marley's book, Soft Balls, Hard Bats played their own redemption song last night in the first round of playoffs. Earlier in the season Soft Balls took a hard loss to Hit 'EM With The D, losing in the bottom of the seventh on a walk off three run home run. Soft Balls played excellent on offense putting up 23 runs in the first three innings. Their defense sealed the deal only giving up nine runs with a slough web-gem's in the outfield.

Wednesday, July 13

Joe Gustav

Soft Balls, Hard Bats

Joe Gustav had a highlight reel type game for Soft Balls, Hard Bats. Going 5/5 with 2 HR Joe led his team on offense, he led his team so well that he took the whole game off on defense. As a challenge to the opposing team, Joe floundered and dropped several fly balls, obviously on purpose with the aim to intimidate the other team. It worked with resounding success.

Wednesday, June 15

Matt Morris-Rosenfeld

Soft Balls, Hard Bats

Soft Balls, Hard Bats won both games of their double header in easy fashion. The star of the second game was Matt Morris-Rosenfeld who hit two HR, 2 3B, and a sacrifice fly scoring a runner who tagged from first! This impressive display with the bat is why he earned Player of the Week.
