Asher Perlmutter

Saved by the Ball

Asher was all over the field defensively in both games of the playoff opening double header for Saved by the Ball. He played a little at catcher making some nice throws to first for some big outs but really showed his stuff running all over the outfield making numerous catches and keeping his team in the game as it was win or go home. He also had a key 2-run single and a run scored in what ended up being an extra inning win to keep the dream alive. He was solid defensively in game 2 as well but Saved by the Ball just couldn't get it done offensively although Asher had 2 big kicks and got aboard 3 times--it just wasn't enough against the tough D of Making Kickball Great Again. Thanks for playing hard and having fun all the way to the end.

Nathan Aclander

Saved by the Ball

Nathan A earns this week's Player of the Week award for knocking in 3 clutch runs to open a close game wide open. He finished the scoring with a deep solo blast in the 6th, all with a great smile on his face.
