Going to the beach, spending time with family, and partying all night are just a few of the things people do on their birthday. What did Alana do on hers this past Sunday? She rocked a softball game with some awesome D at second base and some strong hits up at the plate. Alana was rewarded for her dedication with a great playoff win and our Player of the Week award. Happy Birthday Alana!
The DMs are starting to look like the team to beat with the playoffs approaching fast. In a league of heavy hitters this team more than holds its own. The defensive hustle, the base running, the power at the plate, the high energy. It's going to overwhelm a lot of teams and if you get behind early it's going to be a very long day for you. Led by Daniel Makela who batted 4 for 5 with 3 deep bombs and 7 runs batted in, this team looks unbeatable at the moment and more importantly they are playing together and having fun. Good luck to all teams who will face them in the coming weeks and don't forget to bring your "A" game.
The DMs are finally rolling and looking like a tough team to compete with. With a league that's so stacked with talented teams, the DMs stand out because of their all out hustle and their unique style of play. This team is stacked from the top to the bottom of the line up and will surely be a tough fight for any league teams. Led by Danny Moy on Sunday who batted 2 for 3 with two doubles and a single, the DMs look like they could compete for a league title early in the brief history as a team. We look forward to seeing you guys progress as a team and look forward to seeing you guys in action next Sunday.
