In what turned out to be a pitchers duel John dominated his opponent only allowing 1 run. 6 of the 7 innings he held his opponent scoreless. Clearly the big league club needs to take a look at Mr. Stevens. Great job Joh!!

Janna showed why she is the MVP tonight. Besides being 3 for 3 at the plate she flashed her gold glove ablities making some fine catches. To show her all around skills Janna was one of her teams leaders vocally as well. Great job out there Janna keep it up.

Making Progress forfeited to PB Army.

Not only did Charles Jones pitch an outstanding game against the Dashing Turtles but in the bottom of the 7th inning and down by 2 runs, Charles ripped a line shot in the gap scoring 3 runs including himself to win the game. Absolutely fun and exciting game to watch and umpire. Game went down to the wire and Charles stepped up and delivered big time to help Tap Out secure the late inning win.

This weeks player of the week goes to Brian Hale of the "B.A.R." with his outstanding play in Right-center. Brian came up with catch after catch in the outfield, making plays nobody was expecting, and picking off runners on the bases. Except for one errand ball, that my not have landed yet, her was right on the mark with tons of heat on it. He did a great job with the bat as well as he hit in the winning run when the game was tied 12 to 12 in the bottom of the 7th. Great game Brian!

Dashing Turtles
This weeks player of the week goes to Emily Norland of the Dashing Turtles. She played very good defense in Right-center, coming up with great catches, except for one! But it was the bat that really earned her the honors, as she did all season, she wowed all the fans and opposing teams with her monster shots with the bat. She knocked in a lot of the runs her team needed in both games to bring home the championship! Great job Emily!
