One Mound and Two Rubbers Pummels Loco Locals
Grant Striemel Leads the Charge
If you want to start a season off the right way and with a Big Bang, you basically pummel your opponent into submission. That's exactly what OMTR did against the Locals on Monday night. Scoring 29 runs over seven innings they hit, ran, hustled and showed that they are a team that is going to be a tough challenge for any team. Grant put on a free of charge hitting clinic batting 4 for 5 with a deep bases clearing bomb, a triple, two doubles and batted in 6 runs. He also pitched for the first time and pitched lights out holding the Locals to 5 runs behind some stellar defense. Great game Grant and great win for OMTR.

Super Stars Steamroll Designated Drivers
Matt Morris-Rosenfeld Provides The Muscle
Wednesday night's games saw two hungry teams go head to head in a match up of big bats and hot gloves. Coming in fresh off of a win last week the Super Stars were looking to keep that streak going. Standing in their way? The hard nosed and always dangerous Designated Drinkers. Right from the beginning the Designated Drinkers came out swinging but could muster no runs in the first two innings. The Super Star's defense was that tight all game long. Ripping off twenty one runs of their own and holding the Designated Drinkers to eleven runs establishing themselves as the top dogs of the league right now. Matt put on a hitting clinic at the plate going 4 for 4 with a deep bases clearing grand salami, 2 triples and a double while batting in 8 runs. Great game Matt and great win Super Stars.

Joe Gallagher
The Designated Drinkers
Joe G. was this weeks honoree with some huge hits. Joe suffered a bit of a hamstring issue early in the game but fought through the pain to help his team out, and he did do that. Joe hit some very big shots and was able to walk to first base, but not before he cleared any base-runners as he lead in RBI's. Joe's gutsy performance earns him POTW!
Andrew P. is this weeks player of the week with outstanding defense as well as some great work at the plate. In a tight game that went 9 innings to find a winner, Andrew's defense put right-center on lockdown, and Andrew's bat knocked in key runs in the game as he batted 1000%. Great game Andrew!

Random Collision Rolls
Jake Sturm Electirifies
Wednesday's night game was an audition of sorts for one Jake Sturm. This guy did it all. He batted 4 for 4 with a triple, 3 singles and 6 RBIs setting the tone early on with some incredible footwork in the outfield. Random Collision will definitely contend for a league title but it's Jake that will stir the pot and place the spark where it needs to be. Great game Jake and great win RC.

Random Collision Gets By Loco Locals
Chad Dias Powers The Charge
The team that is Random Collision is peaking at the right time as the playoffs approach. Led by the hot bat of Chad Dias who finally emerged from his slump going 4 for 5 with 2 HRs, a triple, a double and 5 RBIs. Their defense is stellar, their bats are beginning to wake up and they look to challenge for a another league title. Great game Chad and great win Random Collision.
Nick lead off the first game of the night with a home run and followed it up with 2 more, to lead his to victory and help get his team to the championship.
