John S earns this week's Player of the Week for fighting through the pain and coming up big for his team the Chappies. John went down early with a knee injury, but jumped back in the game in the second half and contributed two INTS and two TDS to give his team the easy victory, 49-24. Congrats John, rest up that knee, you'll need it in this division!
Every night that Freeballers play, you could easily just pick someone out of their lineup to be the Player of the Week. They are just that talented. This week, Mike showcased his receiving skills as he hauled in 2 TD passes. His game doesn't just stop there as Mike was able to nab a pick 6 to put the dagger in their opponents.
Tyler was an iron man out there tonight. He was battling an injury while playing in the game but did not let that stop him as he showcased some great receiving skills. When the game was on the line, Tyler showed why big time players make big time plays with a game winning TD to save the MONSTARS.
D.J. got his J.J. Watt on tonight as he put the pressure on Winslow's Soldier quarterback. He got off the line quickly and kept up laterally to swipe the flag of the quarterback. D.J. knew this was a great QB he was up against, and if Freeballers wanted to continue their dominance, then D.J. had to be big. Put a few sacks under his name tonight as he was the key difference in this game.
James had a nice efficient night on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. While Winslow's Soldiers were connecting on all cylinders, James was just making everything look easy. He was able to pull in 2 td's and 1 int on the night.
Great job Winslow's Soldiers. Playoffs are right around the corner!
Dirty Mike and the Boys finished out the regular season on a very high note. Tim was a huge factor for that win with his ability to snag a few touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball. But this magnet for the ball didn't stop on just one side of the ball, he got his Richard Sherman on by taking an interception to the house. Dirty Mike and the Boys will be looking to ride this momentum into the playoffs.
