How started the season off with 2 TD's on offense as his squad started the season off 1 and 0. Joe had multiple catches as well helping March down the field. Joe also snagged one from the opposing QB giving him an INT of defense, all these stats earn him the POTW.

Rico J earns this week's Player of the Week not only for his 2 TD grabs, but for the way he completed one of them. He ran a nice post down the middle and was wide open in the endzone, but his QB's fingers (must have) slipped on the pass so it was a lame duck that was batted down by a defender, then sailed into the endzone where Rico slipped and on his back caught the ball between his knees, securing the TD. Definitely a Sportscenter Top 10 moment, congrats Rico!

This past Sunday, General Powell's Whale Hunt got caught up in at Crossfire and the result was an epic clash. The two teams cracked 100 points in Crossfire's 55-50 barn burning victory. Leading the way for Crossfire was Ben Reiber, who ran hard all day and had a huge 50 yard touchdown catch that ended up making the difference in his teams win.

In the best matchup of the day, Justice League faced off against Pain Train, and the two teams did not disappoint. In a back and forth affair, Patrick Earley made the difference by scoring a long TD and making a key interception in a 32-30 victory.

The game of the day was definitely the match-up of General Powell's Whale Hunt going up against Morally Ambiguous at Best. Each team held the lead three separate times, and it came down to the final drive. Trailing 34-30, Michael Helling stepped up and made the play, catching the game winning touchdown pass with very little time remaining. The defense had just enough to make it to the clock expiration, making it another successful Whale Hunt for the winners.

Back That Pass Up

Kyle earns this week's Player of the Week award for not only one but 2 amazing TD catches on some crazy deflections. The first one was in the corner of the endzone, the defensive player made an spectacular play on the ball and batted it seemingly to the ground, only for Kyle to dive for it and grab it with one hand while getting both feet in bounds for the TD. The second one was a little more conventional, as the ball was tipped over the middle and Kyle went up and got it, absorbing contact from a defensive player for the touchdown. Nice grabs, Kyle!

Morally Ambigious at Best overcomes all odds, completes doubleheader sweep to advance

Started from the bottom, even closer to the top now! Morally Ambiguous at Best began the day as the 9th seed in the bracket and advanced all the way to semifinals with two very close and clutch victories. They relied on their defense towards the end of both games, and they came up huge, proving defensive stands on 4th down in both games to secure the victory. Paige B came up huge both games, with numerous catches and defensive plays, including breaking up a would-be TD late in the game. She plays the game with a lot of fire, and her team feeds off it. Good luck the rest of the way, and congrats!
