Winter Co-ed Flag Football at Seattle Center Saturdays

Maria B. earns week 1 POTW with serious speed. Maria did a great job of putting together a solid team and coached them up as well as performed. Maria sealed the honors with an excellent reception a couple yards off her goal-line, then showed her athleticism. Maria took the ball from goal-line to goal-line, with ankle breaking moves, and as soon as she got separation out ran everyone on the field. Maria's great scoring catch and all around play earns her POTW. Great game Maria.

This weeks POTW goes to a rookie from the "Team Rookies" who made himself present in a hurry. Offensively Kyler played lights out with numerous catches, as well as 2 TD's. Kyler also should off some skills at the QB position by throwing a TD catch. Kyler also helped those who think defense wins games as Klyer was a menace with 3 INT's. Kyler's all around performance earns his this weeks honors, great game "rookie"!

In a close battle between two solid teams Rachael was the difference maker in a very defensive game. The final tally was 20 to 12, and Rachael chipped in the the offensive output with a TD reception. Rachael was also key in the low scoring game with her lockdown defense, also bringing in a INT. Great game Rachael.

Eric S. gets this weeks POTW for his last second catch to win the Championship. Eric had 1 INT and 2 TD's in the game, and bumped out what looked like the winning TD by his opponent for this weeks honors. Eric's contributions in a very tight game make him the obvious choice to end the season as the final Player of the Week. Great game Eric!
