After a long weather and holiday lay off we have finally crowned a new league champion in the Hamlin Park Saturday league. Congratulations to Seatown Juice! Lead by Jeff Padilla they simply were too much for the opponents they faced on the day. Their bats were on fire all day long and their short stop Jeff Padilla simply played out of his mind. he batted 10 for 10 on the day to include 2 deep bases clearing bombs and scoring 7 times on the day. Seatown Juice was able to score a combined 64 runs in the two games they played. Anytime you are scoring over 60 runs in just two games you are on fire, you become a very hard team to beat and Seatown Juice showed that on Saturday. Hats off to defending champion PB Army for putting up a great fight. They played some great softball as well scoring a combined 41 runs in the two games they played. They will be back for some pay back next season so all teams beware. Great game Jeff, great Seatown Juice and thanks for supplying the sweet tunes. Congratulations!!
