Underdog Flag Football is back at Loyal Heights and that means Beer 30 is back as well. In their opener, they breezed past Back that Pass Up 30-8. Sean Linton led the way, having a hand in all four touchdowns in the rout.

Early on, it looked like the game between the Throbbing Buhners and Back That Pass Up was going to be a tight one. But the Buhners defense turned this game into a rout. Tanya Willoughby played the role of JJ Watt, racking up five sacks while applying relentless QB pressure throughout the game. Tanya also scored a second half touchdown that essentially out the game out of reach in the 34-8 victory.

Most weeks, there are four or five worthy contestants for Player of the Week honors. And while there were plenty of standout performances this past Thursday, it is without a doubt that it goes to Virginia Kim. Beer 30 needed all four of Virginia's touchdowns, and her interception on defense in order to escape with a 30-26 win over the Throbbing Buhners.

On the final night of the regular season, Russell's Lil Heroes was in need of a victory to put themselves into a better playoff position. But as it turns out, they came away with two wins, thanks in large part to Heidi Larsen. In their final game of the evening, Heidi caught a huge touchdown pass, putting their game with Back That Pass Up out of reach.

Leonila was the team hero at the end of their very close playoff victory. In a tough defensive game points were minimal and the final score was 14 to 13. Leonila put the team on his back with 40 seconds and scored the winning TD helping his team advance to the next round. Great game Leonila!

And after getting off to a slow start, Dominick Jones stepped up in the second half and carried Multiple Scoregasms to a 56-30 victory over Beer 30 in the Championship Game. Jones threw six touchdown passes, and played the role of Earl Thomas on defense, leading his team to the big win.
