Team Zissou Avenges Earlier Losses and Comes from the Back of the Pack

Team Zissou started the night as the 6th seeded team. They would help themselves out in both their semi-final and championship games by jumping out to an early lead. In their first game against PB Army, the got out to a 10-3 lead before a large comeback by the Army tied the game at 12. In the top of the 7th inning Zissou would hit their two remaining home runs to go up 4 and seal the game.

They would also jump out early against the Lawn Wranglers by a score of 4-1. The Wranglers came back late and were within 1 run in the 7th inning. They would hold Zissou scoreless in the top of the inning, but couldn't keep the bats going in the bottom of the inning as the Zissou defense put them away with a 1-2-3 inning.
