Summer Co-ed Softball at Northacres Sundays

David Kerwin hit his first ever homerun last Sunday at Northacres Playfield. This is including playing Little Leauge and High School Baseball. Congratulations David!

Hot enough for ya? That was the question of the day on Sunday at Northacres! The other question was who's gonna be Player of the Week?!?! Not really, but it makes for good reading! This week was especially tough to pick just one POTW since so many home-runs were hit that the ump nearly ran out of gameballs. But, in a game between Kickin Aces & DA Bad News Bears it was what happened on the bases that made the difference. Kevin LeMoine of Kickin Aces was swingin' the lumber (actually aluminum) well from the plate going 4-5 including a triple. But what gives him POTW honors is what he did with the leather, turning an incredible 3 Double Plays!!! Congrats to Kickin Aces on their 11-5 Victory and to Kevin LeMoine our Player of the Week!!!

Going 5 for 6 with many key hits, Mike also held the powerful Immgrants in check on the mound. On a side note Brady Owen on the PB Army hit a MONSTER towering blast opposite field over the concrete wall and on to I-5 to tie the game in the top of the 7th only to have Rachel Han'ager come through with a walk of hit over the outfield into deep left.
